Our History
Family owned and operated, Sclamo's started their retail business in 1982 selling rebuilt and used appliances out of a small store located on Burncoat Street here in Worcester. In 1986 we moved to a new store storefront located at the corner of Cambridge and Southbridge streets. Here we expanded our rebuilt appliance business to include new value priced furniture and bedding. By 1995 our continuous growth saw us move yet again to our present location. Today, after several internal expansions and remodels, our sales floor now boasts one of the areas largest displays of new, brand name appliances, furniture and bedding. Still, to this day, consumers who need a more affordable solution to their appliance needs will find the city's largest display of used and rebuilt appliances along with a fully stocked parts department for the do-it-yourselfer. And now, here we grow again. Newly added to our already extensive line up of Appliances, Furniture and Bedding, we now have a complete line up of Home Electronics, featuring some of the best name brands in the industry...
